We are saddened by the passing of our beloved Betty Ziegler de la Cruz, a 40 year faithful employee of our school, on September 23, 2008. Family, alumni, and friends are sent our sincerest and deepest condolences on the loss of a truly remarkable "COMET," Grandma Betty! - F. Richard Marracino - Headmaster (read Eulogy). It was Betty’s wish that in lieu of flowers alumni and friends of CPS make donations towards the Brian Wos Rand Scholarship Fund : CCSI c/o Brian Wos Rand Scholarship Fund P.O. 70177, San Juan, PR 00936-8177 or make a donation on-line.
CPS is pleased to have honored Betty in life. On November 15, 2006 (Betty's birthday), the Commonwealth Campus Library was dedicated to her, as tribute to her legacy of dedication, having served the CPS Community for over 38 years (see pictures below). |
